The film is based on actual events that i researched with a forensics investigator but everything in the movie is performed by actors and filmed by a professional crew. That said the ending is just gut punchingly chilling. The scene that is like 5 minutes or so long of josh digging the hole for the barrel with amy pleading him not to do it and knowing shes trapped in the barrel with. Only movie ever to do that.

Id like to address one recurring question. The dialogue is pretty bad too and reaaaaaaaallly didnt need to see the rape scene. I dont want to spoil it but it depicts very rough rape stuffing a girl inside a barrel with another dead body and then burying her alive. Is the kind of film that left a impression in you for the shock of the scenes more than the story of the performances and that for me is a little cheap.
